Out of State vehicle Smog Inspection (DMV Required).
California Law requires most vehicles coming from out of state to pass a smog inspection before registration.
Our Station is certified to perform Out-of-State smog checks and electronically submit results directly to the DMV.
At Cnv Smog Check, we preform the required Smog Check Inspection for the DMV Registration Renewal, delivering prompt, accurate and State-Certified results.
WHY IS THE SMOG TEST IMPORTANT?
A smog check makes sure your vehicle is safe, clean, and meets California’s emissions standards. It protects the environment, keeps your engine running efficiently, and ensures your registration stays valid without delays or penalties.
HOW LONG IS A SMOG CHECK CERTIFICATE VALID?
A smog check in California is valid for 90 days. You have 90 days to complete your DMV registration, renewal, or title transfer. If the 90-day window expires, the DMV may require a new smog inspection to keep your registration current.
